‘Collaboration Divides the Tasks and Multiples the Success’

Within one of my modules at university, we had to design an advertisement for a brand. We were in groups of four and together, we designed images for ‘Feel Good’ juice drink. This experience was very helpful because I have an interest in advertising and it’s something I hope to do as a post-graduate course. Having the experience to work from a live brief like I did in this module, will hopefully help me when studying a post-graduate course. Throughout this campaign, we had to design different sources of media to advertise ‘Feel Good’ drinks. As a group, we designed a Radio Advert, two Billboard images and a gif. All of the new skills I learned from doing a gif and a radio advert, will hopefully allow me to carryover into another module throughout university. The hardest skill throughout this process was working collaboratively, as we all had different ideas and abilities within the group. Being able to bring all the ideas together proved harder than I thought. Overcoming this problem was quite simple for me as I focused on my main roles which were post-production and the social media director. Even though this project was challenging as a group, I’m very proud with the final products we create for ‘Feel Good’ drinks.
