During university, I developed a series of photographs for one of my projects. I displayed fire photography using paper lanterns and to develop this idea further, I used the fire starter inside the lantern. This allowed me to create a different concept of the images completely and made them look more professional. Having developed these skills during this project allowed me to learn something new with a brand new item I’d never used before. The new fire starter images made the lantern pictures look not as good because the creative concept is greater in the fire starter images. Having the black background with bright colours works well because it contrasts together effectively.
